Fun with Oskar & Catching Up

We hung with our old buddy Oskar at the library yesterday! It was 26 degrees outside so we had to stay indoors all day. The boys made each other laugh as they ran (disruptively, of course) all around the library.

We've stopped using his toy cups in the bath since he just uses them to drink the tub water!
Drain inspection post-bath: wondering where the water went...
Maybe someday he'll be a plumber like his Grandpa!
Andrew's beginning to say more words lately. Yesterday he said "orange" (which I am trying to limit his consumption of because I suspect it's causing the rash aroung his mouth). Other words seem to come and go, like "go" and "nose" and "letter". He says "more" (while signing it) and "ball" probably the most often. A funny phrase he says is a jumbled version of "What is it?" complete with a wonderous expression.

Upon tucking him in crib to go to sleep I say "I love you, goodnight." He responded last night with a clear enough but jumbled version of "I love you Mah."
He's all of a sudden a good kisser, too! He puckers up and gives kisses right on the lips! I love that it's unexpected, too-- so nice.

He can follow directions such as "bring this to Dad in the living room", "pick up the ____" and "get in your seat" (haha, along with "sit down, please" for when he stands up in his chair).
Now that he pretty much is running, a good one we're working on his, "stay with mommy, please."
He enjoys pointing to our photos on the refridgerator and saying "mama and dada".
My next project is to assemble photos of family and friends for him to start recognizing.
