So the Patriots didn't win Superbowl 42.... They still were 18-0 for the season! Besides, on the potential rally day, we were able to avoid crowds at City Hall to get Andrew's birth certificate. We then marched over to the Social Security office to get him a number!

Andrew watches Mom & Dad on the computer all the time. Naturally, he wants to try it, too!

Checking out his reflection. Time on the changing table has been slightly more challenging lately but Andrew has his go-to toys, the jingling lion and octopus teether which he seeks out as soon as it's time for a new diaper.

Aw, Mom! Sleepy baby~ Andrew seems to know what "sleepy" means because he'll go right to snuggling and sucking his thumb if he's ready for a nap. He's been a really good and consistent napper as of late, 9am-9:45 and 2pm-3. Wake-up has varied between too early (5:30) 7am. Bed time is on-the-dot at 7pm. If he's not acting sleepy (tonight he got a "second wind" after a good poop :D) I'll put him down and after 5 minutes of crying he'll settle right down to sleep. He has been waking up a couples times at night, at 10:15-ish and some crazy time like 3:45am but nurses and promptly is back to bed. He slept better at night when he was younger! Go figure.
File that under: "Just when you think you have them figured out, they'll change things up on you."

Dressed up to VOTE! Well, nice neighborhood lady/Shaw's cashier/"Pete's Mom" Joan also works at the polls and she just LOVES Andrew! She graciously held him while Mom carefully ticked off her right candidate for President. Of course Mom felt bad to let Joan hold him too long (he is HEAVY!) and then dropped her ballot for everyone to see. So much for the privacy sleeve!

He looks more than ever like he's getting ready to crawl!

Today Andrew got the "Rainforest Healthy Care Booster Seat"! It's a clever contraption which can be attached to any regular chair, taking up less room than a high chair. It's easily portable, and gee, comes with a cool toy attachment to keep him occupied while Mom whips up dinner!

Andrew had some good eats today: for breakfast, oatmeal with fresh blueberries and banana put through the food mill; for lunch, a couple spoons of yogurt for the first time, to taste (eeew! got the wince reaction), and rice cereal with pears & blueberries from a jar (tastes good!); for dinner, oatmeal mixed with avocado, applesauce and prunes (below, in his new seat). In addition, Mom had to fish out a hunk of rice "rusk" that he bit off (ok, no more of those, choking hazard!) and pick up some rejected bits of (PbbbbbT!) then spoon-whacked, ground-up edamame.
