Well, of course the honeymoon had to end on his 3-week-old birthday~
"They say" it gets better at 6 weeks.... Are we in for some trouble???
I couldn't wait for Alex to get home from work!
Dad tries consoling him. Works...for about a minute.
Was it something I ate?He seemed troubled with pain in his gut. If only babies could talk!
By the end of the night, Alex had the Enfamil out, bottle prepared...
After an initial (fooled) voracious gulp, it was definitely REJECTED!! "Waaaaaah!!!!"
Alex tasted it and said it wasn't that great. I tried it and thought it tasted like paper.
Needless to say, he happily went back to the boob~
We had a good rest-of-the-wee-hours with him going back to crib promptly after feeds, thank God!
I'd had a dull headache all day (from the constant crying?)...only to later realize it was likely coffee withdrawal: I skipped my usual cup that morning! Maybe Andy had the same "issue"?
Today we are much happier.
