It was so nice to get away from here to "the country"... Andrew appreciated the clean outdoors! Only problem was that it is black fly season up there and he got nailed! 7 bites.. But I sort of (um bad mommy?) "let" him get bit (no bug spray) in hopes that his little immune system will react better than one that has never been exposed to such pesky bites (Mommy gets very swollen and itchy). He only has red dots and no swelling so I think my theory is working. Well, we'll see over the years...

The drive home was evil! Normally 3 hours, took us 5. Nothing to do with Andrew, just bad traffic. I kept rotating the toys....Only a couple spells of yelling but no all-out meldowns. Traffic + babies is sooo bad! We actually got off the highway, hoping backroads would be better (and easier anyhow in case we had to stop). His bed time schedule is now confused- 9pm the past 3 nights, yikes! Tonight we finally got him back to 7:30.
