Nola Conant Bucell is born!
Andrew and I went to help out Aunt Maureen on Tuesday (we brought her favorite pad thai). Little did we know, we would be taking her to the hospital to have baby "Tickly"!
During lunch, we saw that she was getting occasional pangs of contraction pain.
She had a 4:00 ultrasound at St. E's. During the ultrasound, Dr. Falzon was contacted and it was decided that Auntie should be admitted!
Here she is, in the labor & delivery room, being "interviewed" and iv put in.
Andrew stayed pretty well-behaved- as long as he was kept occupied either crawling around or fed or (here) a water bottle to shake!
Dr. Falzon on the scene, adeptly assesses the progression. Maureen was having contractions every 6 minutes by the time we left, at 6:30!
The next morning, at 10:41 a.m., "Tickly" now known as Nola Conant Bucell was born! She weighed in at 6lb 11oz, 19".
Fun with Uncle Mike.
