Friday

Though today was a mostly napless day, we stayed in great humor.
On the menu, at lunch, we tried seaweed and loved it! Practically shoveling it in. Mom thinks it's akin to the pickle fedish- vinegary and salty. Also on the menu was avocado and sticky rice. At dinner we had our fave, cod, and with that we tried asparagus for the first time! That was good, too. And of course, Ritz crackers rounded out the meal nicely. After playgroup. We hoofed it there, after morning nap attempts failed.... He eventually slept 30 min on the stroller ride home (and that was it, for the rest of the day!).
So busy! We took some breaks here and there to "attempt nap"- all were failures.
Today was the first time the living room really looked like a scattered-toy disaster area!
Oh No, what's to come???! LOL!!! This pic was before emptying the bucket, toy-by-toy, for the 2nd time.
Yesterday was the first lobster 'excursion'! It was good but not requested for more.
I took a store-bought lobster roll and removed the meat and rinsed off the mayo in a colander, then microwaved it in butter. It was a cheap way ($3.99 at Stop & Shop) to get a decent amount of claw & knuckle meat- and a delish snack for mom! ;D We will be trying this method more often, hehe. Maybe he would (or I least I would) enjoy the real thing more!

Visit with Molly & to Ringer Park

We last visited Molly in November http://andysbabypages.blogspot.com/2007/11/visit-to.html. My, how the babies have changed! They're at a much more fun age for playdates now :DAndrew showed his first "cruising" at this table!

Hey- we have the same thing at home!
Molly looks on with interest in this stranger invading her toys. It took a while before these two warmed up to one another. Eventually, Andrew was ready for a nap & slept 45 min on our way home- not on our way there as I'd anticipated!
This afternoon we walked to Ringer Park in Allston and met up with our buddies for some playground fun. We especially like this playground b/c of the lack of woodchips. Of course, Andrew managed to find one and I had to fish it out... And then he started gagging and urped up a little... Which revealed a dried piece of leaf! Sheesh. We moved him to the swing.

Cutie pie Adrian!
Katie, seeing Andrew off~ He was asleep 5 minutes later, for the walk home :D
