Sick Baby :C

Poor Andrew woke up Saturday morning with a runny nose and fever of 101.8.
He officially has his second cold, just two weeks from his first birthday!
We talked to Dr. James about it today and she was impressed with his track record.
The fever has subsided but the boogers are in need of constant suctioning. We're using some saline in his nostrils to help it along.
In this photo after his first Jello experience, he was just tired and ready for bed.We went for a walk to the park around the corner Sunday. Using the lion push toy, Andrew walked more than halfway there!
Helping Mom sort through her coupon collection. Andrew got to play with the expired ones ;D

Trip to Scituate & Brendan's Birthday!

We visited Grandpa's cousin Leonard (Lenny) Roll. (Roll is Andrew's Great-Grandmother Frieda Gockel's maiden name.) He and wife Connie live in a beautiful home on 3rd Cliff in Scituate. They are lots of fun- we didn't even go to the beach (which happens to be my favorite!)

When we got home, it was time to go out again! .....To Brendan's 1st birthday party at the Marriott Courtyard in Cambridge.
Brendan & his Mommy, Amie.
Soon after this photo, at his own party, he fell asleep!!!
There was lots of food and delicious cupcakes & cookies for dessert.
The room was beautiful, overlooking the Charles River, and newly carpeted.
It was perfect for the little ones and with plenty of toys! His buddy Oskar was there!

Kids' Fair at Artesani Park (and Katie's Birthday!)

Deep thoughts.Yeah! Andrew in his "Joy Ride": stroller covered in toys!!!
Mom kept the music going in back with the tambourine.
The black mesh material is a uv/sun cover. It also is like nice cubby space for him (and great for naps, too)... He napped during the 2 mile fun-walk.
There were tents set up with local kids' info, including free dental exams.
Katie wasn't interested in going to the dentist that day!

Sippee time on the hot day.
Our baby group (some, not all) who meets at St. Elizabeth's.
It is run by the REACH program.

Andrew's stroller won the prize for "Best Decorated Wheels"!
Back home, getting some walking practice with the lion.
He loves this now! So much so, that it's better outside or in a wider-open area.
