Happy Father's Day!

We had Tevukas, Aunt Maureen and Uncle Mike and Cousin June over for Father's Day. Daddy (not pictured) was very busy! Aunt Maureen was reading Daddy's present, "Goodnight Bush" (a creepy parady on Andrew's book, "Goodnight Moon").
June had fun with Andrew's ample toy selection!
We had grilled Jamaican Jerk Chicken with Mango Salsa and Greek Pasta Salad. For beverages, there were nonalcoholic mojitos. Aunt Maureen brought yummy ginger dessert cookies and blueberry coffee cake. Auntie Carol and Grandma were so nice and even put out a bunch of "Happy Father's Day" balloons at the entryway!

Parade Downtown

We met up with mommy's close friend from childhood, Dave, and enjoyed all the festivities downtown! Note: it was also Andrew's first time taking the T (both train and bus!) which were received well. Also note: a lot of Andrew's clothing is from Dave's nephew, Danny! I think he is even wearing Danny's overalls here :D.Dave and his friend Aaron. Andrew loved them! They're so much fun.

Since Andrew slept in (an unprecedented 8:45am), and there was so much action, he didn't nap until we left (2pm). Every time a musical float came by, he even danced (bouncing up and down to the beat). Yeah! We had fun!!
Lots of freebies! Andrew got a stuffed bear, a sheriff's badge, and football stickers, among other things. One thing he lost: a ball with the world printed on it. He was using it like a teether then it dropped and rolled away... Only for someone to quickly scoop it up and stuff it in their bag! Mom had a chuckle.. Little did than person know, it was all drooly.... Andrew looked around for it but the parade excitement soon made him forget.
