Morning Walk at Paine Estate in Waltham

Despite a previous night of many awakenings, I decided to take Andrew on a nice nature walk for his morning nap. We arrived here:

This was taken at the end of our walk (he was still asleep in this photo).

The sun dial was accurate...well...just behind by an hour. It was quarter-of-11.

The walking was easy, with a few meandering trails, not too long. There were many maps posted. It took Andrew some getting used to! I had to take him out of his stroller twice and reassure him. I guess all those tall trees and cawing crows were not too comforting! He eventually settled down and napped.

Lunch time back home! The grapes were "dessert".

Ragnhild, her mother and Oskar arrived an hour later. By then, Andrew's "condition" had deteriorated so we left to walk with Melinda and Christopher back to their house and then continued around Chandlers Pond while he napped in the stroller. They were still at the playground when we got back so we headed to Starbucks for a treat.
