Andrew has now mastered the word "car"!
And you know, that is very important to a currently car-obsessed toddler!
For a little while there he was referring to a car as "vooom".
In the bath tonight he said "bubble" and "pop" and "please".
He even strung together, "More bubble please!"
A couple days ago he started saying a distinctive "Hi" or "Bye!" complete with wave.
It's exciting to see this expanse in speech start to happen!
Other notes: Yesterday while I let him wander, walking on his own completely around the block and through the park, he pointed to the sky while we were in the middle of the field and said "Elmo". He was recalling our Elmo-kite-flying experience from a week prior!
Favorites pastimes of his are: reading, driving cars around, going to the playground (Hooker is our favorite), coloring with crayons, and watching "Gabba" (Yo Gabba Gabba) and Elmo. He's also a big fan of his Duplo train set and he enjoys bouncing around on Rody.
We can't wait to spend more time outside! The car now carries, as permanent fixtures, the Fropper and lion ride-on toys.

An Impromptu Playground Meetup!
We had the Duplo train set out for a couple days... And this morning, he decided it was time to take it apart (our cue to put it away!). It's a fun toy ~~~
We looked out the back window while dressing Andrew and noticed another tot at his playground! We had to investigate. Andrew went undercover in his shades. It was early enough, ma had her coffee. This is our typical down-the-stairs mode where I scoop him up to carry him down.
At Portsmouth Playground, SURPRISE! *We knew* the tot: Adrian!!!

As it turns out, most Wednesdays she is here with her Dad. They play very well together. Yay!
