Nola Conant Bucell is born!

Andrew and I went to help out Aunt Maureen on Tuesday (we brought her favorite pad thai). Little did we know, we would be taking her to the hospital to have baby "Tickly"!
During lunch, we saw that she was getting occasional pangs of contraction pain.
She had a 4:00 ultrasound at St. E's. During the ultrasound, Dr. Falzon was contacted and it was decided that Auntie should be admitted!
Here she is, in the labor & delivery room, being "interviewed" and iv put in.Andrew stayed pretty well-behaved- as long as he was kept occupied either crawling around or fed or (here) a water bottle to shake!
More interviewing.... "Any allergies?" Uncle Mike answered "Work."
Dr. Falzon on the scene, adeptly assesses the progression. Maureen was having contractions every 6 minutes by the time we left, at 6:30!
The next morning, at 10:41 a.m., "Tickly" now known as Nola Conant Bucell was born! She weighed in at 6lb 11oz, 19".
The new love~ so precious and beautiful!
Isn't she a baby Auntie Maureen in this photo? But her hair is dark!
Andrew got gleeful and smiled and reached toward her when he saw her.
If only those hospital basinetts could be taken home!

Fun with Uncle Mike.

Sick Baby :C

Poor Andrew woke up Saturday morning with a runny nose and fever of 101.8.
He officially has his second cold, just two weeks from his first birthday!
We talked to Dr. James about it today and she was impressed with his track record.
The fever has subsided but the boogers are in need of constant suctioning. We're using some saline in his nostrils to help it along.
In this photo after his first Jello experience, he was just tired and ready for bed.We went for a walk to the park around the corner Sunday. Using the lion push toy, Andrew walked more than halfway there!
Helping Mom sort through her coupon collection. Andrew got to play with the expired ones ;D
